Effect of Alkalinity on Desulfurization Rate

The alkalinity mainly affects the dissolution rate of H2S in the alkaline liquid film and the degree of further dissociation of dissolved H2S. According to the material introduction, the dissociation degree of H2S increases with the increase of pH, but it is not proportional to pH. When pH is 7-9, the desulfurization ability is higher. At this time, when hydrogen sulfide is removed, Fe2S3 which is easily regenerated is produced. When the pH is too low, FeS that is difficult to regenerate will be generated, thereby shortening the life of the desulfurizer. If the pH is too high (greater than 9), the desulfurization rate begins to decrease.

Effect of Particle Size on Desulfurization Power

The particle size is too large, the specific surface area is small, resulting in the desulfurization agent and the gas through the touch time is short, and the wall flow will not be conducive to social response.

Under the condition of 10% moisture content at room temperature, the effect of different particle size of desulfurizer on the sulfur capacity in the desulfurization process was determined. Under the given conditions, when the particle size of the desulfurizer increases from 40 mesh to Φ4 × 6mm, the sulfur capacity decreases slightly with time to add data rate, but the effect is not obvious.

However, the size of the particle size affects the magnitude of the bed resistance. The particle size range is too small, and the bed resistance is increasing. After testing, the particle size of Φ2~4 × 6~10mm is more suitable, and its resistance coefficient is less than 100 p/m.

Effect of Temperature on Desulfurization Power

The desulfurization capacity at different temperatures was determined in the range of 15 ℃-70 ℃. The desulfurizer has the characteristics of chemical adsorption. The increase of temperature accelerates the desulfurization process, which is beneficial to desulfurization.
