Introduction:
Polyacrylamide is typically a colorless to white crystalline powder or granule.
USE: It can be mixed with inorganic coagulants, such as polyaluminium chloride or alum, for treating low-turbidity wastewater or tap water. Additionally, it finds use in purifying wastewater from oil fields or as an anionic trash catcher in the white water system in papermaking.
